Sinergise (SIN) is an SME with extensive expertise in developing advanced geospatial information systems based on web technologies, as well as the development and provision of value-added services from Big Geospatial Data. It has expertise in the field of user requirements and system design, software development, database administration and system infrastructure. SIN has extensive experience in ESA, H2020, FP7 and industrial projects, as well as established relationships with geospatial user groups (industrial, governmental, researchers, open), providing an immediate pathway to mobilize geospatial data owners and consumers. SIN’s Sentinel Hub won the Copernicus Master award in 2016 (T-Systems cloud challenge and Overall winner) and in 2018 was listed as “Ones2Watch” company in the space data field and selected to be a “European EO Company of the Year”. Sentinel Hub is a powerful platform, able to process, in near-real-time, petabytes of satellite imagery data and visualize it in a way suitable for the end-user – either in true color, false color or some of the vegetation indices (e.g., NDVI, EVI, CRI). It currently holds more than 1,5M Sentinel-2 scenes, covering more than 1 billion square kilometers and containing almost 100 trillion pixels of data. The Hub daily serves thousands of users of the broader geospatial value chain, processing more than 2M requests per day. SIN is a founding member of the Space-SI Centre of excellence, which combines five research institutions, six high-tech companies and large industry members. Its research and development activities are focused on micro and nanosatellite platforms, an advanced ground control infrastructure as well as satellite integration and testing facilities. SPACE-SI has developed a complete and fully automatic processing chain from raw satellite data to web-delivered map-ready images, utilized through Geopedia. In addition, SIN is a partner in Copernicus DIAS projects, with its EO-learn framework, which will be integrated in OpertusMundi to cater for the provision of value-added services from EO assets. In its 12 years of operation, SIN has built solutions for large governmental clients in Europe and Africa, with more than 2M people annually using SIN’s tools to manage more than 50M property records and more than 500 million EUR of transactions annually.
